Why We Built This Site
Hawaiʻi provides several public access routes, yet each custodian holds a different slice. MPD keeps incident and arrest reports; Second Circuit courts keep charges and dispositions; HCJDC runs eCrim and the statewide repository; DCR controls custody records; and HCJDC also maintains the covered-offender registry. The purpose here is to put the verified contacts, fees, search tools, and request steps in a clear Maui County framework.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Hawaiʻi court, police department, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only MPD, the Hawaiʻi Judiciary, HCJDC, or another originating custodian can issue an official criminal record. This resource can identify the office, but cannot supply the document.
